Smart Notice Board Using IoT
Abstract
Various establishments including bus stations, railway stations, colleges and shopping malls heavily depend on
notice boards to facilitate communication between users. A manual update process with traditional analogy notice boards
makes operations slow and inefficient. The project focuses on creating an IoT-based digital notice board through the
integration between an ATmega328 microcontroller and a 16x32 dot-matrix LED display. The system allows users to
conduct instant wireless message updates using a webbased interface. The ATmega328 microcontroller works at 16 MHz
frequency to send messages precisely as well as show content for efficient communication. The system includes
environmental temperature monitoring features which boost its operational capability. The use of IoT technology enables
this wireless notice board to reduce manual work while delivering accessible paperless communication
