A Simulation Study of Dc-Dc Boost Converter Using Double Gate Junction Less Field Effect Transistor with Triangle Shaped Spacer

Abstract
A simulation-based study on a DC-DC boost converter using a double gate junctionless Field Effect Transistor with triangle shaped spacer (DGJLFETTSS). The mathematical expression for various quantities is also obtained. The DGJLFETTSS-based converter is compared with a conventional JLFET and MOSFET-based converter in terms of efficiency, switching speed, and size. The DGJLFETTSS-based and conventional JLFET-based converter shows significantly higher efficiency than MOSFET-based converter, while also exhibiting faster switching speeds and a smaller size. Among the JLFET structures the DGJLFETSS shows slightly higher efficiency than the conventional one. Keywords - DC-DC, Boost Converter, MOSFET, JLFET
