Paper Title
RAC And FLC Strategies Of SAPF For Power Quality Improvement
Abstract
This paper introduces both RAC and FLC and strategy of shunt active power filters (SAPF) for power quality
improvement. The proposed control schemes are implemented without load harmonic detection. The compensation
constraints are obtained by regulating indirectly the currents of the power mains. The reference currents of SAPF are
generated by the dc-link voltage controller based on the active power balance of system. In RAC the current control strategy
is implemented by an adaptive pole-placement control strategy integrated to a variable structure control scheme . In FLC is
based on defined linguistic rules and does not require any mathematical model of the system unlike the other traditional
controller.
