Optimization Of IDS Algorithms Using Data Mining Technique

Abstract
The continuous development and rapid expansion of World Wide Web and local network systems have changed the computing world in the last decade. With the rapid expansion of computer networks during the past decade, security has become a crucial issue for computer systems. It is the IDS which protect to our computer network. Different classification and clustering algorithms have been proposed in recent years for the implementation of intrusion detection systems. In this paper, multiple algorithms are analyzed to find the optimal algorithm. Then we reduce the time complexity of optimal algorithm by eliminating some features without altering the efficiency.
